DSLCore is the current application platform used by Greg Sier & Associates.
It allows an operational model to be expressed as structured metadata and used to generate a working application that can then be tailored for a specific organisation and operating environment.

Why this approach?
Many specialised operational systems fall into an awkward middle ground.
They are too specific for a generic enterprise package to represent well, but substantial enough that spreadsheets and disconnected forms eventually become difficult to manage.
Traditional custom development can solve the problem, but it can also make relatively modest systems expensive to design, build and maintain.
DSLCore provides a reusable application framework while retaining the ability to represent specialised operating models.
Reference applications
The DSLCore site contains working reference applications across mining operations and safety, asset and maintenance management, local government and infrastructure, ports and shipping, and renewable energy.
These are reference systems rather than claims of identical installed customer systems. Their purpose is to demonstrate how a particular operational problem can be modelled and provide a concrete starting point for discussion, proof of concept and tailoring.
